City Attorney

Patricia K. Kelly is the City Attorney for the Colorado Springs. When someone breaks a law or damages city property, she tries to protect the citizens of Colorado Springs.  When a criminal is sent to court for injuring people or property, the City Attorney works to see that criminals are sent to jail or forced to pay a fine. The City Attorney works with other lawyers to protect each citizen. Citizens are too busy to go to court each day and represent themselves. So, the City Attorney goes to court to represent all of us and protect our rights.

If someone does not pay for a speeding ticket, they may have to go to court and meet with a judge. The City Attorney will be at the court to make sure the person has to pay a fine or go to jail. The City Attorney helps the police department by trying to keep our city safe. She helps all citizens by making sure criminals have to pay for their crimes. She meets with the City Council members and tells them about recent court cases.
