Grade 7, December Unit (@ 15 days)

Overview                                                                              
During the last 3 weeks of quarter 2, 7th graders will explore where geometry is used in the real world.  The area of a room will be calculated in order to buy new carpet.  The surface area of a barn will be found so that the farmer can buy enough paint to cover the outside of his/her barn. Pay close attention to the Essential Questions. You may be asked to answer the questions at the end of this unit.
