the
Video Introduction. How would you describe your ideal self
one year, five years, and twenty-five years from now? Do you envision
yourself as an overweight couch potato who doesn’t even have the energy to
play with your own children? Most likely this isn’t your visualization, but
it could easily be your reality if fitness does not become an important
ingredient of your daily life. This unit offers you the opportunity to
continue to learn about and participate in a variety of fitness activities.
All activities will fulfill one or more of the components of fitness. You
will build upon your current knowledge of fitness not only to participate at
an advanced level but to also devise and implement your own fitness
program. You will be exposed to a variety of fitness activities such as:
circuit training, swimming, running, bicycling, aerobics, yoga, Pilates, and
much more.
