Grade 3 - 5 , Team Building Unit |
|
Overview
Team building games have become very popular activities and units in many physical education programs.
Team building games use problem solving skills and team challenges to find workable solutions to these puzzles and activities.
These activities are similar to the challenges that you see in the hit T.V. show “Survivor”. The students must use “Critical thinking skills”
and learn to cooperate with the team to solve the problems at hand. This unit will start with icebreakers that allow
students to feel at ease with each other and with you. Team building activities will be introduced to build communication,
teamwork, and trust within the group.
