The following criteria will be used to score the first 5 components of your Instructional Unit Template |
|
15 points
– All five requirements (see below) for the assignment are present
producing a framework for a quality unit of instruction. Summary
information is complete including subject, grade level, recommended timeframe
or quarter, unit title, and approximate duration. Standards and E-Skills
are included. Enduring
understandings and essential questions are stated so the intended
audience can understand them. The essential questions represent issues
that would need to be uncovered, and cannot simply be answered with
facts or brief data. The enduring understanding has value beyond the
classroom and would require uncovering. All elements in the WHERE
model have been addressed. Some effort has been made to identify
Internet or other appropriate resources.
It was turned in by the due date
and reflects an understanding of the backward design model. It is ready
for public review with correct use of grammar and spelling.
