Differentiated Instruction: Supports and Extensions Rubric
 
The following criteria will be used to score your Differentiated Instruction: Supports and Extensions
15 points - Throughout the Instructional Unit, Differentiated Instruction Strategies are included in at least 15 instances. These could be a total of extensions and supports, but both are included. For core group or whole calls instruction, there is at least one example of differentiation through content/product, process, or learning styles.  Up to 2 points will be deducted in the final scoring if either of the following require revision:
- Explanations of how the strategy is to be used is clear from the written description.
- Written descriptions are ready for public review with correct use of grammar and spelling.
12 points - Throughout the Instructional Unit, Differentiated Instruction Strategies are included in at least 12 instances. These could be a total of extensions and supports, but both are included. For core group or whole calls instruction, there is at least one example of differentiation through content/product, process, or learning styles. Up to 2 points will be deducted in the final scoring if either of the following require revision:
- Explanations of how the strategy is to be used is clear from the written description.
- Written descriptions are ready for public review with correct use of grammar and spelling.
9 points - Throughout the Instructional Unit, Differentiated Instruction Strategies are included in at least 9 instances. These could be a total of extensions and supports, but both are included. For core group or whole calls instruction, there is at least one example of differentiation through content/product, process, or learning styles. Up to 2 points will be deducted in the final scoring if either of the following require revision:

- Written descriptions are ready for public review with correct use of grammar and spelling.
6 points - Throughout the Instructional Unit, Differentiated Instruction Strategies are included in at least 6 instances. These could be a total of extensions and supports, but both are included. For core group or whole calls instruction, there is at least one example of differentiation through content/product, process, or learning styles. Up to 2 points will be deducted in the final scoring if either of the following require revision:

- Written descriptions are ready for public review with correct use of grammar and spelling.
