Beginning Keyboard Lab 1: Course Overview
Course Number: MUM.KBLAB1

Overview
This course will explore the basics of piano keyboarding and experiment with combining the different sounds and rhythms of the synthesizer. Basic music theory will be included. Students will be able to record and playback their own musical creations. They will also be able to play along with CD's of today's pop music. No previous musical knowledge is necessary.
RECOMMENDED: Two quarters for seventh and eighth grade and 1 quarter of sixth grade.
