International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program Music: Overview
Course Name: IBMYP MUSIC 1

Course Description:
  This course of study is designed to develop the student's ability to sight-read music in the bass and or treble clef. The student will learn to take rhythmic and melodic dictation. The student will also study the Medieval, Baroque and Classical composers and styles through listening, analysis and historical text. RECOMMENDED: 6th, 7th & 8th grades
