Middle School Jazz Band 1: Overview
Course Number: MUM.JAZBD1

Overview
Only those students who demonstrate an advanced level of performance proficiency will be considered for inclusion in this band. Instrumentation includes saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano, bass, electric guitar, and drum set. Stage band performs at festivals, assemblies, concerts, and community events. This band provides an opportunity for the student to study and perform music in the jazz/pop idiom.
RECOMMENDED: Four quarters.
