Overview
This is a level IV high school instrumental music course. Students must audition to be enrolled. Chamber Strings is a strings course in which various styles of music are studied and performed. Emphasis is placed on the improvement of ensemble playing. Students selected for Chamber Strings show an above-average understanding of their instrument and display a high level of musical sophistication through their performance. This orchestra performs at school concerts and community events.
Prerequisite:  Audition. Level III high school instrumental music course or instructor’s approval.
