Turkey Drop for Harvest of Love Turkey Day
Friday November 20th, DHS families can drop off a donated turkey for Harvest of Love. BAAC and PTCO will be working with Student Council to reach the goal to collect at least 100 turkeys.Points will be awarded to 3rd hour classes.
As you drop off or pick up on the 20th, no need to park--there will be turkey collectors along the sidewalks to collect your turkeys. We will be along the west, east and front of the school from 7:15 - 7:45 before school and after school from 3:00 to 3:30. Student Council will also be right inside the school doors collecting turkeys that morning.
PLUS, each DHS family that donates a turkey will receive coupons from local businesses!
BAAC (Building Accountability Advisory Committee) and PTCO (Parent, Teachers and Community Organization) would like to invite you to join us for our next meeting on Monday, November 16th.BAAC meets from 6-7pm and PTCO from 7-8pm in the Spartan Room. During the November meetings we will also collect turkeys. Please make sure you let us know your students 3rd hour teacher so points can be awarded.
