Spartans win SIX medallions! Thirty-two schools participated this year. Doherty was represented in 21 of the 24 sports categories.

Doherty Teacher Wins Crystal Apple Award

FIFTH YEAR IN A ROW DOHERTY STAFF IS CHOSEN

ErinAhnfeldt, an English teacher at Doherty, has been awarded a 2009 Crystal Apple Award for excellence in education. Nominees submit a portfolio of work with letters of recommendation from staff and students and are judged by community volunteers. Last year, Brad Wheaton, an Automotive teacher, won. In 2007--Sue Keller, Math; 2006--Cheri Rogers, PE; 2005--Debbie Eicher (retired). Prior to that, Dr. Julie Furstenau, Science chair, also won.
