to Students and Parents
Officer Garrett, Doherty’s Student Resource Officer, has notified us that the Family Dollar Store on 4609 Austin Bluffs Pkwy, has signed a no trespass notice with CSPD. Any loitering on the store grounds can result in a citation by any CSPD Officer for trespassing. This is 24 hour enforcement. Students are allowed to shop but must leave the property once their business is completed. CSPD will begin enforcing this violation Thursday, November 12th.

Band Director David Williams

When Doherty band director David Williams applied for a spot in his college band, that director said Dave's old saxophone was holding him back from playing to his potential. So, Dave became a music major knowing then he'd be able to trade in his old sax for a new school one--not necessarily because he thought he'd study to be a music teacher.

		Each fall, Doherty staff, students, parents and our community help those in need by contributing turkeys, food and money for their holiday season. Our goal this year is to raise $38,000 in food and cash donations. Care & Share has come to rely on our contributions and every year the need is greater and greater-- this year is no exception. The following schedule is posted here for information on giving days and events. Thursday, November 19th: Holiday Fixings Day (Triple Points) Friday, November 20th: Turkey Day (50 Points per turkey!!!)
