PTA has been BUSY!! Take a look at what we’ve been doing over the past couple months – providing support for Coronado students, teachers, staff, and parents. Thanks to all our members, partners, and volunteers! Our current membership numbers 199, a 22% increase over last year! We also have ten Business Partners. Volunteer Thanks!
In December, volunteers wrapped 347 presents for staff and teachers as we offered a “Gift of Time” over the holiday season. PTA Staff Appreciation Chairs Velda Baker and Lynn Roth did a wonderful job organizing this event. Thanks to Doree Hopper and Current, Inc. for donating paper and bows. Coronado and El Paso PTA award talented winners!

Coronado Classroom Kudos Awards: Recognizing Exemplary Conduct and Citizenship

In order to recognize and reward exemplary conduct, citizenship, and improvement among our students, Coronado PTA and Coronado award students each quarter with Classroom Kudos Awards. These students are coronado finalists and will now go on to compete at the next level judged by the Friends of the PPLD. See the finnalists here. To see the Students Our students did very well again at the Colorado State Reflections program Sunday in Denver! The Gold award winners will advance to the national competition.
