Congratulations to Travis Hennager, Kari Morris, and Kaylie Adams for receiving callbacks and scholarship offers at the State Thespian convention. Travis had 7 callbacks and lots of scholarship money offered. Way to go!

*Do you know the reason actors say, “Break a leg”? There are lots of origins, but mostly for actors it comes from the superstition that if someone wishes you good luck, then you must really need it! Also, in Shakespearian times audience members would throw coins onto the stage at the curtain call—therefore, wishing someone to “break a leg” meant hoping he’d have many riches to collect off the floor.

If you would like to a part of the Renaissance Fair, or would like more information about A Midsummer Night’s Dream, please contact Elizabeth Kahn-Lanning at 328-3760.
