Greetings from the Coronado High School Math Department!
As the end of summer nears, it is time to think about school supplies, and
math classes have some very specific needs.
The items for all classes are:
- 3-ring binder with dividers
- Lined paper
- Graph paper
- Pencils
calculator (we strongly recommend the Texas Instruments TI-34II
and TI-30XIIS). These generally range in price from $9.00 to
$19.00. Junior and senior level courses (and sophomore honors
classes) require a graphing calculator (the most user friendly are the
TI-83 and TI-84; Casio makes one, but it is very difficult to use);
these generally range in price from $80 to $120. If you are unsure
about which type to buy, we will make an announcement to students on the
first day of class, but if you can make these supply purchases in advance, it would be
much appreciated.
