Betsy Byar's Homepage: This site has links for writing tips, photos and a book list of Betsy Byar. This could be a great site for students to do an extensive study about Betsy Byar.

Harcourt School Publishers: This is an incredible site for teachers to engage their students in interactive, fun and educational activities.

Jan Brett's Homepage: This site has several activities for children. There are math, reading and writing problems that will engage your students. There are several games, recipes and art activities that could be incorporated into a unit on Jan Brett. Once the students complete the unit, they can recieve a certificate from this site. Kathy Shrock: "Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators is a categorized list of sites useful for enhancing curriculum and professional growth. It is updated often to include the best sites for teaching and learning."
 
Learing Page. This is a great resource. Teachers will have to sign up for membership. It is easy and it is free. You can get some great worksheets for a variety of subjects and grade levels.

Links for Teachers: This site lists several incredible links to various sites.
 
Lycos Zone: Teachers, parents and kids can enjoy the resources found at this site. There is a game section that will engage the user. The teacher's section has several lesson plans and thematic units.
 
Marco Polo: "The goals of MarcoPolo for 2005 are to provide teachers with 5,200 standards-based lesson plans and resources that cover every core K-12 subject, grade level and class period, and to train 2.4 million teachers, with MarcoPolo in every school and 1 million teachers using MarcoPolo regularly."
 
Math Fact Cafe: This site has addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and fraction flash cards for students to practice.

National Geographic Book Club: This site lists several books for students to read. Students can read a summary of each book in the list. They can also read reviews provided by other students. There is also an opportunity for students to provide their own summary once they have read the book.
 
National Geographic for kids: This site is packed with exciting activities, information and ideas for kids, parents and teachers.

Nearctica: This web site lists many education sites that deal with a multitude of lesson plans.

Paul Cockcroft's Literacy Resources: This site has great activities and worksheets for teachers to enhance writing skills.

PBS Kids: This site offers several fun educational games for kids to play. Check out all the exciting activities offered at the Friends site of Arthur.

Prongo: Prongo.com provides educational games where kids can interact and learn. Students should be able to learn a great deal as they play these fun, educational games.

Terrific Science Lesson & Lab Exchange: The lessons on this site were developed through the Teaching Science with TOYS and Science-Literature Integration projects.

Tom Tancredo: This site has great links to sites for teachers, students and parents. Kids can learn a great deal about our constitution, history and much more. There are links to such sites as the Library of Congress, Kids in the White House and Merriam-Webster's site.
