School Supply List 2008-2009

Supplies should be replaced every so often.  Please check with your child.  Please put your child's name on coats, supplies, bags, etc.  We would like you to inventory your student’s supplies at semester time and please replenish what they need.

Kindergarten: One box tissues,  one 4-oz. washable white glue, one pair metal scissors for kids (no carbon fiber polymer black plastic-because they do not work), one box baggies with zipper closing (gallon size), one box baggies with zipper closing (sandwich size), one box crayons - 8 primary colors only (regular size, not jumbo), one school box (no larger than a cigar box), one box markers, one tote bag or backpack to carry papers home (regular size, not small), two pocket folders (one red, one blue).  Please DO NOT put your child's name on the folders.

First Grade: One school box, one box (16 or 24 count) crayons, one pair scissors, three glue sticks, two dozen (24) #2 pencils sharpened, one bottle washable white glue, two  boxes of tissues, four folders with pockets (red, green, blue, yellow), one composition notebook, one backpack (regular size, not small), colored pencils, one pencil sharpener with lid, two black dry erase markers,  one box gallon size zipper closing freezer bags (students with last names A-M), one box quart size zipper closing freezer bags (students with last names N-Z).  Please DO NOT put your child’s name on the supplies.

Second Grade:  One school box, two dozen (24) #2 pencils - sharpened, one box crayons (24-48 count), one set of colored pencils, two erasers, one highlighter, two composition notebooks, four folders with pockets, one pair scissors, three glue sticks, one bottle washable white glue, two boxes tissues, one set washable markers, one ruler (12 inch with one inch markers and one centimeters), one backpack.

Third Grade:  Two dozen (24) #2 pencils with eraser, one package of wide-lined notebook paper, one set washable markers (any size), one 12-inch ruler (standard and centimeter side), one box crayons (48 count), one large bottle washable white glue, one pair scissors with points, one highlighter (any color), two 2-pocket plain color folders, two single subject spiral notebooks, one plastic zipper-pocket pencil holder, one small pencil sharpener, one box of colored pencils (any size), one backpack, two large boxes tissues.  NOTE:  TRAPPER KEEPERS DO NOT FIT IN THE DESKS.   No school boxes.

Fourth Grade:  Crayons, highlighter, colored pencils, markers, twenty-four #2 pencils, three boxes tissues, one pair scissors (pointed), one eraser, one small school box or plastic zipper-pocket pencil holder, one pair scissors (pointed), one eraser, one small school box or plastic zipper-pocket pencil holder, six single-subject wide-lined spiral notebooks, six pocket folders with brads, glue sticks, one centimeter/inch ruler, four packages wide-rule loose-leaf notebook paper..  NO TRAPPER KEEPERS - THEY DO NOT FIT IN THE DESKS.  Please replenish supplies throughout the year.   DO NOT SEND:   mechanical pencils, pens, 3-ring binders (any variety). Thank you.

Fifth Grade: Crayons, highlighter, colored pencils, markers, twenty-four #2 pencils, three boxes tissues, one pair scissors (pointed), one eraser, one small school box or plastic zipper-pocket pencil holder, six single-subject wide-lined spiral notebooks, six pocket folders with brads, glue sticks, one centimeter/inch ruler, two packages wide-rule loose-leaf notebook paper.  NO TRAPPER KEEPERS - THEY DO NOT FIT IN THE DESKS.  Please replenish supplies throughout the year.   DO NOT SEND:   mechanical pencils, pens.  Thank you.
