Mrs.
Linda Schlagenhauf
Principal
Mrs. Schlagenhauf joined the
Columbia Cougar Pride this year as our Principal.
She comes to us from
Sabin
Middle School
where she had served as an Assistant Principal for five
years. When she
first came to
Colorado Springs
from
Carmel
,
Indiana
, Mrs. Schlagenhauf served as the Safe and Drug-Free School
Coordinator for District 11 at Sabin and Irving middle
schools. In
Carmel
she was a physical education and health teacher and
department chair. When
not busy with school duties and activities, Mrs.
Schlagenhauf enjoys oil painting, hiking, biking, skiing,
snowmobiling, reading, and taking long walks.
Mrs. Schlagenhauf and her husband, Ted, have three
grown children and five grandchildren.
Mrs. S says she loves sharing her professional life
with young people. They
give her energy, joy and a sense of accomplishment.
We are so pleased to have her as part of the
Columbia
community.
