Mrs. Cathy Kautza "Mrs. K"
Physical Education

Mrs. K has been our Physical Education teacher since 1986.  Before coming  to Columbia she taught for a year at Roosevelt Elementary School and high school physical education in Wisconsin before coming to Colorado.  Mrs. K completed her Masters in Education degree in 2001.   She naturally enjoys "sports stuff" including skiing, hiking, jogging, camping, biking, watching her daughter, Kitrina, and son, Mitch, on their sports teams, gardening and sewing.  She is lovingly called "cheesehead" - being from Wisconsin by family and friends.  Mrs. K would like Columbia students to always remember "Everything and Anything in Moderation."  Find an activity you like to do and do it!  Be active your whole life and follow your heart--you'll never go wrong!
