Ms. Genny Dorn
Fourth Grade Teacher

Ms. Dorn will be teaching third/fourth grade at Columbia for the 2006-07 school year..  She came to us six years ago from North Middle School where she had been for 17 years teaching 6th grade as well as Special Education for 6-8th grade students.  Ms. Dorn is currently working on her Masters degree in Library Technology Education.  She enjoys working with children and the challenge that goes along with teaching a diverse group. Ms. Dorn co-sponsors the 3-5 grade Art Club and Student Council.  She also is the chair person for our annual science fair.  Away from Columbia she enjoys gardening, skiing and traveling.  Her son Kipper is in culinary school so she enjoys sampling his lessons.  Her daughter Monique is in high school.
