Students must be 5 years old by September 15, 2005. We will be accepting permits on a first come, first serve basis.
Colorado law requires the following immunizations for incoming kindergartners:
5 dpt
4 polio
2 mmr
3 hepatitis B
1 varicella
The El Paso County Health Department has an Immunization "Shot" Clinic. Call 578-3272 (or 578-3199) current hours and for vaccine availability prior to going to the Health Department. You must call to schedule an appointment and you must take a shot record to the Health Department. The charge is $15.00/per shot. They also take Medicaid. Location: 301 S. Union Blvd.. The clinic is no longer a walk-in.
In compliance with state statues and district policy, non-compliant students will not be allowed to begin school without proof of immunization or a signed immunization plan on file in the school office.
A student may be exempt from receiving the required school immunizations for medical, religious, or personal reasons. Contact your health care provider, the El Paso County Health Department or your child's school for more information.
