- No student shall be permitted to attend or continue to attend
any school in this District without first meeting legal immunization requirements or
obtaining exemption from such requirements for health, religious, or personal reasons, as
provided by law.
-
- A student's parent or legal guardian is responsible either for
having the student immunized as required by law or for receiving legal exemption from

years of age or older. Upon request by a parent/legal guardian/emancipated student or
student eighteen years of age or older, the District will make available information it
may have related to low-or no-cost immunizations that are offered by the local Department
of Health and/or other organizations.
-
- In the event a parent/legal guardian/emancipated student or
student eighteen years of age or older does not comply with legal immunization
requirements, and the student has not been exempted from such requirements, the student
shall be denied admission or suspended and/or expelled from school until such requirements
are met, following receipt of direct personal notice of noncompliance and notice of
rights, where applicable, from the school principal (or designee).
-
- Records relating to a student's denial of admission,
suspension, or expulsion pursuant to this policy shall be maintained in the student=s
