EXCLUSIONS AND EXEMPTIONS FROM SCHOOL ATTENDANCE

- Denial of Admission

- The board of education or the superintendent may deny a
child's admission to the schools of the district only as provided by law.

- Students who were expelled from any school district during the
preceding 12 months or whose behavior during the preceding 12 months in another school
district was detrimental to the welfare or safety of other students or school personnel
may be denied admission to the schools of the district.

- No child shall be denied admission to the schools of the
district without an appropriate level of due process of law.

- Exemptions from Attendance

- A child may be exempt from school attendance as allowed by
law.
