one you usually use,
and has different tolerances for the page margins.

2. a) Under what menu do you find the Page Setup dialog box?
b) Describe how to open Page Setup without using the menu.
3. Name the "pages" below as either portrait or landscape paper orientations (layout style).
4. What four page range options can be found in the print dialog box?
5. List 3 ways to tell the computer to print your document.
6. Describe how to do the following without scrolling:
a. Select One word
b. Select One Sentence
c. Select One Paragraph
7. What is Drag and Drop?
8. Why is Undo your friend?
9. Name two ways to open up the Find and Replace feature.
10. Name three fields you might want to insert into a document.
11. What is AutoCorrect? Give an example of how it works.
12. What is Click and Type?
13. Type an Envelope address and add it to this test.
You don't need a real address or envelope, but the printer will want you to insert an envelope into the front tray...you can just insert a sheet of paper there and it will print up like an envelope.

Before you are done here, do the following exercise TO THIS ANSWER SHEET... (I hope you saved it!)
Note: You won't copy and paste a letter for reformatting for this exercise...
Open the above answer sheet if you already closed it. (Don't forget to go to Save As... and save it to your desktop as a Word Document, then open it up in Word so you can work with it)
Click the View Menu in the Menu bar at the top of the screen.
Select Header and Footer.
Enter Your Name into the Header, Left Justified (Aligned Left).
Insert Today’s Date by selecting Insert Date from the Header and Footer toolbar, insert Right Justified (Aligned Right - just tab over twice and insert the date):
If the date that appears is not formatted like this: (Example: February 6, 2000) then go to the Insert menu, Date and Time, and select that format for the date.
Click on Switch Between Header and Footer in the Header and Footer toolbar and enter the Page Number in the footer:
Make the format "Page x of y"
Center Justified (Aligned Center)
Hint: use AutoText.
Click the Close button on the Header and Footer toolbar.
Shortcut: You can double-click in the header (if there is one there) to open it up for editing, and you can double-click in the document (out of the header) to get back out.
SAVE
Save to your "U" drive as previously instructed.
