Finding files that you’ve lost

1.       Click on Start

2.       Click on Search

3.       Then on For Files or Folders…

4.       The instructions in the window that opens are generally intuitive.

 

Getting Help

 In general, from the Start menu, click on Help and follow instructions.

 Within programs, there will be a Help menu, usually at the right end of the menus
 on the menu bar.

 In Microsoft Office programs, there is usually the Office Assistant.  The default is that little Paper Clip guy, but you can usually change to other characters if your software has been fully loaded
