Adjusting the Date and Time

  1. On the TaskBar, Right Click on the Time displayed in the lower-right corner.
     
  2. Click on Adjust Date/Time
  1. On the Date & Time tab, you can change date and time using the calendar and the digital clock with the up and down arrows.
  1. On the Time Zone tab, you can use the Drop-down box to find your time zone, and you can check the Checkbox to automatically account for Daylight Savings time changes.
  1. Windows XP also has the Internet Time tab, which allows you to synchronize with an internet time source. If you don't have this option, but want to get the correct time, use this link:
    http://www.time.gov/timezone.cgi?Mountain/d/-7/java
    and be sure to click the Change Time zone button if you aren't in the Mountain Time zone!
