Leadership Academy for Principals'/Support Staff
|
Division
of Operations and Instruction

"Welcome
to the Leadership Academy for Principals and Support Staff. We all
understand the importance of the
roles we fill as instructional leaders.
We also recognize the importance of having access to timely, relevant,
research-based strategies so we are equipped to make the leadership
decisions that will have a direct impact on raising student achievement.
With this in mind, we will be delivering leadership training sessions
that you can easily take back to your schools and to your teachers who
also need access to timely, relevant, research-based instructional
tools. We hope this website becomes a powerful training tool that will
ultimately help us all create a stronger teaching and learning
organization."
~ Dr. Mary Thurman
District 11 Deputy Superintendent for Instruction and Operations
Mission: To learn and model research-based strategies and procedures
that will ultimately result in increased student achievement.
