West Students Changing the World One Dog At A Time

Training and transporting a mine detection dog is very expensive task.
It costs around $20,000 - but the work that they do is priceless.
Adopting a dog, helps pay for these costs.
West Champs Book
The West Champs Team has written and illustrated a book about their
project. The book will be shipped on Wednesday, April 23. The book may
be preordered until Wednesday, April 30. Prepaid books will be
autographed (paw print) by Utsi. The cost is $10 per book and may be
ordered from Ms. Graven, room 219, West Middle School.
Proceeds from the sale of the book go towards funding Pike, the West
Champs dog. West has already raised about $3,000 towards the $20,000
needed to fund Pike. Howbert and Whittier Elementary Schools are working
with the West Champs Team to raise funds to support Pike. Together, we
have raised about $6,000 so far.
