Data

The collection and analysis of data are central to the Response to Intervention model.  At every level, data are used to screen, identify, progress monitor, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.  Data appear in the form of quick assessments in reading, math and writing.

Collected data are used to create a visual representation of a student’s performance as shown in a variety of graphs.  The analysis of data drives the choice of interventions for the individual student.  Data also guide the Problem Solving Team in changing an intervention or choosing new interventions when the current interventions is not effective.
