2017 Mill Levy Override Proposal
Colorado Springs School District 11 continually strives to make all District 11 schools the best choice in public education. It is well known that great schools equal great neighborhoods and communities that thrive. Please help us as we take the necessary steps to keep our neighborhoods and communities flourishing.

Come to any or all of the public forums or Coffee with the Community events to give us your thoughts and ideas on the Board of Education’s current work to bring forward an MLO in November 2017.

Reasons To Support The District 11 Mill Levy Override
Additional resources allow us to keep our buildings and network secure

District 11 is nationally recognized for its mill levy oversight, spending dollars as promised.

Social, emotional, and physical health of students will improve academics.

Strong schools produce a well-educated workforce and citizens who contribute positively to society.

Investment in neighborhood schools increases property values and decreases crime rates.

Up-to-date technology supports the development of the future workforce, improves efficiency, and provides appropriate security.

MLO funds provide equity for all students, regardless of school location.

District 11 salaries rank below similar Colorado school districts.

The mill levy override would allow the District to keep up with needed building maintenance.
