Library Technical Services - About Us

The LRS Cataloging and Technical Services Department is responsible for cataloging and processing all school library media center items and entering them into the SIRSI library management system. iBistro is the online union catalog (OPAC) of all media center holdings in the district.

This department also manages Medianet, the on-line searching and booking module to access the Central Collection. The Central Collection is a quality collection of approximately 10,000 district purchased videos, DVDs and AV equipment. Items may be booked through Medianet to supplement the classroom curriculum.
