        It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to Jackson Elementary. We are very proud of our school, and consider it an honor to help your child learn and grow! 
        The Jackson family consists of students, staff, parents, and community members. Working together we have created an environment that stresses academic excellence, and fosters respect and dignity for all. We encourage your participation in a number of ways.
        Our parent/teacher organization is called Jaguar Boosters, and our advisory group is called the Accountability Committee. We also encourage volunteer efforts in many other areas of the school.

        I also encourage you to keep in touch with your child's teacher. The teacher emails and voice mail numbers are posted on the Staff  page This will help ensure that your child's needs are being met.
