Andrew Jackson Elementary
is a small (29,011 sq. ft.), neighborhood school, built in 1966 in the shadow of beautiful Pikes
Peak. The school is built on 11.7 acres; the building was upgraded
and new
playground equipment was installed on our grounds between 1999-2001. The
school property is attached to Jackson Park.
Jackson Elementary is named after Andrew Jackson who was the seventh president
of the United States of America. He served as president from 1829-
1837. Click here for more information on Andrew Jackson. http://www.whitehouse.gov/history/presidents/aj7.html
