Galileo Scholars should log in to https://webmail.d11.org to check their email. Remember you MUST use instructsec/ before your user name. Please keep in mind district policies regarding the appropriate use of the District 11 email system.

ATTENTION: SCHOOL IMMUNIZATIONS

All Middle School (6^th, 7^th & 8^th grade) students are required by state law to have the following immunizations for the 2010-2011 school year:

• 4 or 5* DTaP (Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis)
• 3 or 4* Polio
• 3 Hepatitis B
• 2 MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
• 1 Tdap (Pertussis and tetanus booster)
• 1 Varicella (or documented history of chickenpox)

*depending on their age, and date of last immunization in the series

If your student has not completed their immunizations, please make an appointment to get this done as soon as possible, and bring proof of the immunization to the school office before the start of school in August.

Where can you get your child immunized?

HAVE YOUR CHILD VACCINATED NOW! 

Ø  Your family doctor or pediatrician.

 Ø  El Paso County Health Department Immunization Clinic: 578-3272 for an appointment.  Appointments are necessary.  Bring shot record with child.  Straight Medicaid is accepted.  Cash, checks, VISA/MasterCard are accepted. No child will be turned away.

Ø  Peak Vista Community Health Center: 632-5700 You must be registered with Peak Vista to be seen there. If your child qualifies, they will assist you with registration.

Ø  The SET Clinic: 776-8850 For those without insurance, on Medicaid or their insurance does not cover immunizations (underinsured) - FREE Immunization Clinics , call for an appointment. 

 Ø  Ronald McDonald Care Mobile will be at different locations.  For dates and appointments, call 866-6789
