News & Accomplishments

District 11 Athletics

State playoff news:  Coronado's Boys Cross Country team finished 3rd in State.  Coach Doug Hugill stated "This is the best team finish of any previous Coronado Cross Country team!"  Team members:  Andrew Hugill, Ryan Logan, Jesse Matthews, Dusty Solis, Ben Vaske, Chuck Voss, Dylan Witte.  Placing 4th at State Cross Country was the Palmer Girls team.  Team members:  Haley Bryant, Kylee Firlit, Marle Grovenstein, Dana Louie, Hollis Lyman, Amber McAfee, Meg Rudy, Emily Smith, and Annie Whitford.  Palmer boys' cross country all-state honors went to Andrew Goodman.   

District Playoff news:   Doherty volleyball going to regional playoffs on Saturday, November 1 at 9:00 AM at Grandview.

NCAA Approved Courses

Guiding the District Eleven Student-Athlete to succeed in the classroom and on the playing field!
District 11 is proud to offer its NCAA Approved Core Courses for the academic year of 2004-2005.  We are committed to the success of District Eleven's student-athletes and strive to offer the finest counseling as student-athletes prepare for success in the college classroom and onto graduation.
The NCAA has approved the following courses for use in establishing the initial-eligibility certification status of students-athletes from Coronado, Doherty, Mitchell, Palmer and Wasson High Schools.  NCAA approved core courses may also be previewed at www.ncaaclearinghouse.net.
