I am very excited to be meeting with my juniors on planning for next year and beyond. Can you believe it?...we are already talking about the senior year! Juniors (and parents) please call the counseling center @ 328-6412 or stop by and make an appointment to visit with me.

We are looking at appropriate academic courses for next year that will help ensure a successful preparation for college or vocational plans.

I would also encourage you to visit a few websites that we use frequently to help with that process.

I have been seeing many great thing going on with my students this past week. It's great to see students internally motivated to make an appointment with me to discuss college and scholarship information.

Keep up the great work! I look forward to seeing the freshmen in science on Sept. 14th and 15th!

I have been speaking to juniors about their future plans. I would like to encourage students to really start thinking about life after high school. For many it will be college, others may choose to work or enter the military. Whatever your plan, please start thinking about it and doing the necessary preparations.

Make an appointment to talk with me soon. Bring along a parent...this may take the pressure off a bit come your senior year.

I am meeting with my freshmen who are having academic struggles and low grades. I am either calling or having conferences with the parents involved. This will continue through the end of the semester as I am hoping to help my freshmen access the support they need to pass their classes.

I will continue to call down juniors to talk to them about career and college plans. Second semester we will encourage juniors to begin meeting with college representatives and to begin making college visits. Please call me with questions or concerns.

Students and parents: I was recently injured in a serious biking accident, and although I’ve returned to work, I am unable to work a full day just yet.  My focus at this time of the year is to help juniors begin taking the beginning steps towards finding colleges that fit them, and meeting with freshman who appear to be struggling academically in multiple classes.
