Late Start Wednesdays
Coronado will be changing the Wednesday In-Service (PLC) schedule to a Late Start instead of an Early Release as part of our Master Bell Schedule and Staff Development for 2009-2010. Wednesday classes will begin at 8:40 a.m. and end at 2:59 p.m. Bus students will arrive at the normal time and are expected to remain on campus until school begins at 8:40. During this block of time (7:15 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.), we will provide supervised study environments in our cafeteria and library for all of our bus students who will be arriving at their regular time or for students who arrive prior to school beginning at 8:40. Our Security staff will be available and will ensure that no students are allowed to leave campus once they have been dropped off. In the event of a District Eleven Two Hour Late Start on a Wednesday (when we would normally have a late start for Staff Development), Coronado will not have a PLC schedule and will follow the regular Two Hour Late start schedule.
